Judith Sznyter has broad experience counseling sponsors and administrators of multiemployer health and welfare and pension plans as well as related ERISA litigation experience.
Judith is involved in all aspects of health and welfare plans including plan mergers, HIPAA, COBRA, and negotiating service provider agreements. She also devotes a significant portion of her practice to advising fund administrators and trustees on benefits matters including benefits eligibility, administrative appeals, and evaluation of Domestic Relations Orders for ERISA compliance. In addition, Judith has an active litigation practice handling claims arising under ERISA, including claims of fiduciary breach and participant benefit claims and has represented fiduciaries in U.S. Department of Labor investigations and audits conducted by the Internal Revenue Service. She also represents multiemployer plans in collection actions.
Prior to 2008, Judith represented individuals in domestic relations, civil litigation and Workers’ Compensation matters. She is a member of the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations and in her spare time enjoys spending time with family, baking, and kettlebells.
